This project involved the construction of a brand-new staircase and accessway for the Mt Evelyn Library, designed to provide a safe, practical and visually appealing connection between the different levels of the site.
The staircase was finished using ModWood decking, giving the steps and landing areas a clean, modern appearance while providing a durable surface suited to a high-traffic public environment.
To complete the staircase, Moddex handrail and balustrade systems were installed throughout. The galvanised-steel finish provides a strong contrast against the timber-look decking while delivering a clean and professional result.
From the initial construction through to the final handrail installation, each component was carefully fitted to work with the surrounding deck and existing site conditions.
The finished staircase combines durability, accessibility and modern design, creating a practical addition to the library that is built to withstand everyday use while still looking great.
