This project involved removing the existing handrails and replacing them with a new custom-fabricated aluminium handrail and balustrade system.

The original handrails were dated and no longer compliant or suited the look or requirements of the property. They were carefully removed before the new system was measured, fabricated and installed to follow the existing staircase and landing.

The new black aluminium balustrades provide a clean, modern finish, while the simple vertical design keeps the staircase looking open and uncluttered.

Particular attention was given to the positioning, angles and fixing points to ensure the new handrails followed the existing tiled staircase and fitted neatly into the surrounding structure.

The result is a significant visual improvement — taking an older, tired-looking staircase and giving it a fresh, modern finish with a completely new handrail system.
